Conversations with Tom

My first interview with Tom Campbell

In the fall of 2017, I sat down with Tom for our very first interview. I was super nervous but Tom was kind and patient which helped alleviate my nerves.

How Physicist Tom Campbell created his Unified Theory of Everything

Tom Campbell shares his experiences that shaped him into a consciousness researcher and physicist. These life experiences helped Tom to develop a big picture understanding of the nature of reality. This ultimately led Tom to create a model that explains why we’re here, how we came to be and what the meaning of existence is. Tom named his theory MBT or “My Big Toe” – a toe is a “theory of everything.”

MBT - A model for a better world.

Tom and I discuss the differences between a matter-based reality and an information-based reality with consciousness at its core; and how Tom’s Big T.O.E. (Theory of Everything), as well as the unification of science, philosophy, and religion, help to explain life’s big questions: Who are we?; Why are we here?; and What is the meaning of life?

My Big Toe Explained - Consciousness and its Need to Evolve

Tom Campbell provides a basic overview of his Big T.O.E. (Theory of Everything), and shares how he combined his experiences in consciousness exploration with his science background to develop his model. Based on the assumption that both consciousness and its evolution exist, Tom explains how evolution occurs by bringing order to chaos to lower entropy; and how we, as individuals, can make love-based choices to assist in the evolution of ourselves and of the system as a whole.

If it’s not your Experience, it’s not your Truth

Tom and I discuss the importance of finding one’s own truth to create their own Big T.O.E. – and since existence is made in the mind of the perceiver, following someone else’s model of existence is not valid. Tom explains how belief is something that limits us; and advises us to always remain both open-minded and skeptical, to not believe a word he says, and to find out for ourselves what our own truth is based on our experiences.

Belly Button Gazing

Tom and I talk about self-introspection and how to actualize the tremendous potential we all have. They discuss how self-introspection can become narcissism if we get stuck there, and that growing up is about becoming love and becoming love is about giving to others. As part of something greater, we each have a lot to give; and by having an intent to grow, maintaining a positive attitude, becoming authentic, and making peace with ourselves, we will move closer to becoming love.

What is Fear?

Tom and I discuss the origins of fear and the effects the drive to survive had on increasing fear and hostility early on in history. Tom explains what fear is, where it comes from, why we have it, and why it is important to get rid of it.

Exploring the Deep Connection Between Fear and the Subconscious with Tom
We dive into the intricate Connection Between Fear and the Subconscious. We uncover the mysteries of the mind and discuss how hidden thoughts shape our fears, and how understanding this relationship can lead to personal growth and empowerment.
What is Trauma

Tom and I talk all about trauma: What it is; Why we have it; and How we overcome it. Tom explains how trauma is fear-based and comes from internalized feelings of inadequacy and unworthiness. They discuss the military and PTSD, how trauma takes a toll on one’s life, and why an event or situation can traumatize one person and not another.

Ego Made Me Do It.

Tom and I discuss how the ego, which Tom defines as awareness in the service of fear, creates dysfunction in our lives and makes everything worse. Tom explains how to follow the ego to identify fears to know what we need to work on in our lives in order to grow and become love
